About Canterbury RPG & Table Top Gaming Society
Well met prospective members, and welcome to UCA Canterbury's RPG and Tabletop Society! Does fighting made-up dragons with a dastardly group of companions sound like something you might dig? Then you’re in the right place!
RPG, or Role-Playing Game, is a blanket term for any type of game- be it board, video, or tabletop- that allows you to assume the role of someone else (or perhaps a cooler version of yourself.) Whether you're a bonafide D&D vet, a first-timer, or if this all just sounds vaguely interesting, we want to welcome you to the table. We’re incredibly beginner friendly so if you’re completely new to RPGs please don’t feel dissuaded!
We pride ourselves on being an ambitious society, and have a great deal planned for the next year including but not limited to: regular D&D sessions (for people of all exp levels!), board and card game nights; pub crawls; trivia and quizzes; character design, writing and TTRPG workshops; fantasy-themed life drawing, and so so so much more! You can partake in as much, or as little, as you desire for an incredibly reasonable £10 a year!
TLDR: if you're looking for adventure, people who share your specific niche interest, somewhere that you can pretend to be a buff guy with a sword, or even just a place to spend your Monday evenings, the RPG Society might be for you.
THE RPG SOCIETY MEETS EVERY OTHER MONDAY + ON THE THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH.
